For a Better Life

The LFF 's new project, "Para Uma Vida Melhor", did its first good deed by granting a child in need an electric bed.

The "Para Uma Vida Melhor" project intends to help individual children and young people in need, and wishes to contribute to the improvement of their life conditions, a life which, due to illness or other limitations, is limited.

In an attempt to do our best when selecting all the topics that are debated daily at the FLF, the most pressing cases will be considered to be sponsored by "A Better Life"

This request came to the LFF through the Associação Humanitária Acções Unidas, a private association for social solidarity that is non profit, whose headquarters are at Vila Nova de Gaia; their plan of action is aimed at children that were abandoned or are at risk in any way.

Representing the LFF was Dra. Sara Souto, yesterday, on the 5 of July, at Vila Nova de Gaia, so that she could offer the articulated electric bed to 10 year old Marco António herself. Marco suffers from spina bifida, and can now see a huge improvement in all of his daily routines.

The LFF thus sees this new project as the continuation of the work they have been doing since its inception, allowing and generating more and more smiles for children that, often times, have no reason to smile!
