2010 Christmas Circus

The LFF, along with Circo Soledad Cardinali, held, on the 3 of December, in Oporto, a special afternoon for around 2.000 children and young people from over 20 social solidarity institutions and hospital from the North of Portugal, whom, along with their families, enjoyed the magic of Christmas Circus.

The LFF 's Christmas Circus was able to count on the fundamental presence of Luís Figo, and also other famous celebrities, who didn't want to miss out on this initiative, and that once again was a delight for all the children with the usual clown acts and trapeze artists in all their glory.

«It's an immense joy to be able to provide such joyous moments to children from all over the North of Portugal, children who don't usually get to witness moments such as these», said Luís Figo. «The Foundation has been doing its best to bring its actions throughout the entire country, and this initiative is helping us achieve that very goal», he added.

The Santa Casa da Misericórdia from Porto, the Portuguese Red Cross, the Associação Anjo Amigo, the Associação Terra dos Sonhos, the Hospital de São João and the IPO Porto, are some of the institutions that were present at this Special Christmas Circus.

By acting in the areas of Health, Education, Sports and Social Action, this initiative is one of the several projects the Luís Figo Foundation is putting into action this Christmas, and that ends with the already common National Toy Give Away Campaign that reaches children and young people at risk or in unfavorable conditions throughout the country.
